Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote (Switzerland Based)
I am working with an exciting SaaS Start-up in the Finance/Trading industry who are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to assist their superstar Engineering team. We are looking for enthusiastic people with a history in Software Engineering.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain the cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Be involved in business and system strategy
- Implement infrastructure as code practices using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Ensure high availability and scalability of our systems
- Collaborate with development teams to continuously improve our CI/CD pipeline
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud and DevOps trends and technologies
Experience
- Fluent both in written and spoken English
- Previous experience in Star-up experience is a big plus.
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer with a background in Software Engineering
- Strong experience with AWS and modern cloud technologies
- Infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Containerization and orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
